Vintage 1930s Safety Match Advertisements

These Swedish safety match advertisements date back to the 1930s.

 With the rapid growth of matchbox production at the start of the 20th century, label design became the key differential point between brands. They all did the same thing and were of similar quality, but as with most goods, branding played a big roll.

These advertising posters measure 9.75" X 17.25" As these are each almost 100 years old, there may be some visible wear, but overall each is in wonderful condition.
